First edition of Terra Amico Farms Camp is coming!

We’re excited to announce that in July we’ll be hosting the first edition of Farm Camp!

July session of Farm camp will be designated to children age 7-10.

According to the COVID-19 restrictions, group will be limited to 12 children. First come first serve registration.

Farm Camp will take place 9.30 -12 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday during both weeks - 6 days of Camp total.

Total non-refundable fee is $300 per student

Program overview:

compost day

Discover what lies beneath the soil, and what it takes to make healthy, rich soil all while reducing food waste in our daily lives.

food cycle day

Discover the four essential, independent factors needed to sustain life. Discover the roots of our food cycle and connect to where food comes from by planting and growing your own vegetables and herbs.

life Cycle Day

Understand the life cycle of a plant and the different phases a plant goes through during growth. Explore the life cycle of a plant by in depthly looking at seeds, how they grow, differences and similarities between species, and the mature plants they belong to.

Renewable energy Day

Harness the sun’s energy to cook a s’more & explore renewable energy. Create your own energy by building a turbine that can be powered by both wind and water.

Water cycle day

Experience the water cycle from a plant's perspective and learn how a water droplet travels around the globe and changes form. Understand how water becomes polluted and design ways to filter out the pollution, creating clean water for our food.

Harvest day

Students will plan, calculate, design, and promote the produce they have been growing to be displayed at their own farmers market. Harvest the vegetables and herbs grown over the course of the session and make your own pizza.
