Terra Amico Farms is embarking on offering a hands-on interactive science program for students beginning this summer and continuing trough the school year!
This has been a dream of ours over the years and we believe that parents and students will both be in dire need of this opportunity after being home for so long.
Our program will offer activities and lessons on sustainable farming, agriculture, water cycle, life cycle, food chain, and composting. Our small, organic certified family farm is the perfect location for exploration of where food comes from, which is now more important than ever.
All lessons and activities align with Next Generation Science Standards and incorporate STEM methods for experimental learning. After completing this program our students will have the knowledge and inspiration to become lifetime stewards for the environment, food sources, and the community.
